Saxos rejse

Midt i efterårets travlhed glemte jeg helt at annoncere, at computerspillet Saxos rejse havde premiere i november. I spillet rejser man rundt i Danmark anno ca. 1180 i rollen som Saxo (ses her til højre) på mission for biskop Absalon (i midten) og i konkurrence med krønikeskriveren Sven Aggesen (til venstre). Missionen går ud på at samle oplysninger om, hvad der skete ved Blodgildet i Roskilde og i slaget på Grathe Hede mellem de stridende konger Svend, Knud og Valdemar.
Spillet er ganske gratis og spilles online på www.saxosrejse.dk. Det henvender sig til elever i 4.-6. klasse, men alle historieinteresserede kan spille med.
Spillet er udviklet i et samarbejde mellem (bl.a.) Historiens Hus - Ringsted Museum og Arkiv og de to idemagere og cand.com.'ere Randi Hærup Poser og Julie Siv Jacobsen. Jeg var selv involveret som middelalderhistorisk "konsulent", mens jeg var ansat på Historiens Hus. Min indsats bestod mest i at komme med kedelige bemærkninger som "den kjortel skal være længere" og "det går ikke med tagsten på det hus", men det var en fornøjelse at følge Siv og Randis sprudlende gode ideer undervejs.
TV2 Øst har lavet to indslag om spillet. I det første præsenteres ideen og i det andet afprøves det på en lokal 5. klasse.
